Fresh Salsa Recipe - I have lived in Albuquerque New Mexico for over 15 years and out of all the restaurant salsa I have tried, none of their fresh salsa recipes beat either one of the these on our web site. This recipe's flavor is designed to surround its fresh tomato sensation.
Salsa Ingredients
This recipe calls for:
1/2 Small Onion
1 Jalapeño
2 Cloves of Garlic
5 Roma Tomatoes
1/4 Cup Loosely Packed Fresh Cilantro
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

For this recipes you will need:
Blender, or Food Processor
Cutting Board
Knife
Measuring Cups
Measuring Spoons
Chopping Jalapeño and Onion
First Step: Chopping Jalapeños and Onion
For a mild salsa leave the vain out, include the veins and seeds for medium to hot salsa. Now, cut the half of onion into one inch pieces and put them in the food processor or blender.
Then add the 2 cloves of skinned garlic and the 2 prepared jalapeños to your blender, or food processor and dice these ingredients.
Cilantro
Second Step: Cilantro
Remove the stems from the cilantro and fill a 1/4 measuring cup full of the cilantro leafs, make sure that they are lightly packed. Then drop them in your food processor or blinder.
Cutting Tomato
Third Step: Tomato
Wash and stem your 5 tomatoes and slice them into eight pieces.
Limon Juice
Forth Step: Limon Juice
Squeeze out one tablespoon of lime juice.
Adding It all Together
Fifth Step: Add It All together
In a food processor, or blinder add together:
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
5 Roma Tomatoes
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
Chopping Salsa
Sixth Step: Chopping Salsa
Now, using your machine, dice your ingredients till they look like the second picture to the left.
